Third E-Crane® Carinox Steelmill successfully commissioned

Charleroi, Belgium, 4th of July 2007 – E-Crane is delighted to announce that the third E-Crane® for MultiServ’s scrap catering project at the Carinox steelmill is successfully and safely installed, commissioned and put into service on July 4th, 2007.

According to Mr. Cédric Le Lann from MultiServ, this is another important step for MultiServ’s services at Carinox. As the steel mill is now approaching its design capacity of one million tons of stainless steel per year, this third E-Crane® for MultiServ is the final phase of significant investments to provide efficient and comprehensive scrap handling. The new E-Crane® will assist both in unloading inbound scrap and filling the scrap baskets for the mill.

For E-Crane, the delivery of the 3rd crane to MultiServ clearly shows the dedication and commitment to provide innovative solutions to the scrap handling industry. According to E-Crane’s Mr. Lieven Bauwens, this crane also highlights how E-Crane’s commitment to quality combined with state-of-the-art technology helps to create and sustain growth for E-Crane and E-Crane customers worldwide.
