Maysville, Ohio: From our E-Crane® erection team on site

After violent June storms earlier this week, since Wednesday night all Southern Ohio counties were under Flood Warnings. Despite these flood warnings the assembly of the second E-Crane® for Dayton Power and Light continued until Friday, June 6th..

The Ohio River came up faster than expected and our erection crew had to de-mobilize fast, real fast! When the river was rising above the 38.5 feet, the dock was suddenly flooded. Within hours the river crest went up to almost 42 feet. Time was of the essence and our experienced team was able to put the remaining E-Crane® parts on the barge, haled our tool container of the dock… and then had to disassemble the lift crane and get if off the dock. the whole exercise was successfully completed in a safe and disciplined way.
