Unloading Biomass in Denmark

HOFOR:  1500C Series HOFOR Copenhagen has recently installed a new E-Crane for handling biofuels.  Hofor A/S power plant Amagerværket, located near the city center of Copenhagen, Denmark, is renewing and upgrading their facilities in order to phase out coal by 2020, replacing it completely with bio mass. As part of this upgrade, Hofor is also replacing an existing 4-rope grab crane with a new E-Crane. As everyone knows, tensions are high in the country of Venezuela due to staggering inflation, food and medicine shortages. In spite of the crisis, E-Crane likes to keep in touch with its friends and clients. Using social media, E-Crane’s Mark W. The Three lives of One 2000 Series E-Crane

Our first 2000 Series E-Crane began as a large capacity crawler ship unloader in the USA, was transformed into the high precision Block Buster in the Netherlands, and is now working as an E-Dredger in the Caspian Sea. Murray Energy, the largest underground coal mining company in the United States, has recently installed a new E-Crane for handling fly ash at its facility near Moundsville, WV. Murray Energy produces about 65 million tonnes of coal annually, providing reliable electric power to many customers. The new E-Crane is barge mounted, and unloads barges of fly ash, a coal combustion byproduct. The fly ash is loaded into a specialized hopper, also mounted on the barge alongside the E-Crane.
