Providing future generations with essential tools
In January, De Driesprong – a local school visited us and received two LEGO Spike Prime robots along with expansion packs. There are 24 students in the ‘Code Club,’ an initiative introduced by a local teacher. To participate in the FIRST LEGO League contest, the school needed at least one robot. E-Crane Worldwide is proud to support this exciting initiative.
We received the following update from the teacher regarding the contest:
“After an exciting school final between De Blokbrekers and De Legomasters, one team was chosen to represent the school at the First Lego League Final in Ghent. De Blokbrekers had the honor of competing, while the Legomasters joined them for support, which later proved to be very important.
The day consisted of three games, each lasting 2min30s, where the team had to score as many points as possible. Points could be earned by completing pre-programmed assignments, showcasing an innovation project, and presenting their robot design. The final scoring opportunity came from core values, which assessed team interactions, spirit, encouragement, and support for one another. In this category, we achieved 1st place.

Throughout the day we also attended three more workshops, on topics including rising sea levels, 3D printing, and the usage of drones in water with the Marines. The support from the other team and the many parents in attendance contributed to our success.”
We’re happy to see young talent in action!
