When AMG Resources installed a new 1100-ton Moros 1100 Shear, the team carefully evaluated several material handling options. After extensive research and site visits, the E-Crane quickly emerged as the clear choice. AMG selected a 700B Series E-Crane, free-standing pedestal mount, with an 86-foot reach and a 1.68 yd³ grapple to handle a range of materials. 

Positioned for maximum efficiency, the E-Crane’s superior reach and excellent visibility allow the operator to feed and control the shear directly from the cab’s ergonomic, climate-controlled environment. The electric-powered, stationary design eliminates the fuel and maintenance costs associated with diesel machines, while freeing valuable yard space that would otherwise be used for mobile equipment travel lanes.
