DESCRIPTION OF E-CRANE

In August 2025, PT Adaro Logistics achieved an important operational milestone with the commissioning of a new 1800C Series E-Crane. In this short period of operation, the crane accomplished hourly unloading rates over 1,300 tons and daily records exceeding 21,000 tons.

The unit was installed at the new coal transfer jetty B2B2 on the Barito River in Kelanis, underscoring Adaro’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence, technological innovation, and sustainable growth.

This achievement was the result of effective collaboration between E-Crane, PT Multicrane Perkasa (MCP), and the local E-Crane Indonesia team. PT MCP contributed critical local expertise, coordination, and on-the-ground support throughout the project phases—planning, installation, and commissioning—while the E-Crane Indonesia team provided direct supervision of the installation and commissioning process, ensuring adherence to global standards and best practices. In order to optimize efficiency and reduce installation costs at the remote Kelanis site, the crane was preassembled in Jakarta prior to transportation and final erection at the project location. This strategic approach ensured timely delivery and established a benchmark for project execution in a remote location.
