Another impressive project completed

The Indusign/ECI-USA erection team completed a very complicated erection job of a long outreach, 1500-series E-Crane™ well ahead of schedule in the port of Houston, Texas, USA. The erection of this 36 meter outreach crane was completed safely using, amongst other equiment, a floating crane of a local contractor. Crane offloaded fertilizer from barges on wednesday the 2nd of May after a 3 week erection period. This was approx. 1 week ahead of schedule.

Madison based Beelman River Terminals Inc. is building the facility which will accomodate rail, barge and truck traffic. Including drivers, the new facility will have about 45 employees. Indusign Makes Investment in Production Capacity

Indusign has made a substantial investment in its assembly and testing facility in Adegem-Maldegem, Belgium. The total square footage available for manufacturing, assembly and testing has been tripled. Also, the overhead crane capacity has been increased to 100,000 pounds. According to Mr. Bauwens, “This investment was necessary to meet the increased demand for new cranes especially the larger 2000 Series.”
