Time for celebration!

Mrs. Marleen Van Gemst and Mr. Jan Depoorter from Indusign/E-Crane Worldwide celebrate their 50th anniversary

When someone turns 50 it is party time at E-Crane Worldwide ! In the month of March and April Mrs. Marleen Van Gemst and Mr. Jan Depoorter celebrated their 50th anniversary so this means time for cakes, friends and lots of fun… Marleen works at Indusign in our Purchasing Department. Today she is a highly respected colleague and responsible for the administration and follow-up of part orders and shipments. Jan works as a senior designer in the engineering department and in addition to this, Jan is one of the driving forces behind our safety program.

It is a local Flemish tradition that when someone turns fifty, colleagues prepare a doll that resembles the one who is celebrated. As a matter of fact the doll receives a name: Abraham (male doll) or Sara (female doll). So whenever someone says that he (she) has seen Abraham (Sara) this means that they are (at least) 50 years old !
