New Tower Production Line for E-Towers Famaba

GLOGOW, Poland (October 2nd, 2013) – A whole new tower production line has been inaugurated during the “E-Towers Open House Days 2013”. This new tower production line is an important milestone for the Polish production facility. According to Lieven Bauwens, member of the supervisory board of E-Towers Famaba “All employees have worked extremely hard the last year to get everything installed and operational on time. It was a difficult and complex logistical exercise as production could not be affected. In close cooperation with several contractors many hurdles were dealt with.”
This new dedicated production line for tubular tower sections allows not only production of the heavier towers sections but also the overall production capacity will increase substantially. All tower production lines are now capable of producing tower sections weighing up to 100 tons and this in a safe and efficient way. During the inauguration the new plate rolling machine, the 3 new welding manipulators and numerous roller beds were already in full operation.
With this important investment E-Towers Famaba is firmly committed to further strengthen its position a one Europe’s leading manufacturers of towers for wind mills. By combining hi-tech welding and production techniques with premium quality E-Towers Famaba is ready to serve clients now and in the future.

Again a warm welcome to all of you on behalf of the supervisory board and management board and also on behalf of all co-workers here at E-Towers Famaba on this sunny day.
This is an exciting day for E-Towers Famaba because it marks an important moment in time as we are opening the fifth tower assembly line!
I have personally seen impressive changes here at Famaba over the last decade. These changes were noticed in the fields of know-how, efficiency, productivity, quality, infrastructure,… All these changes turned Famaba into what we are today: “A top performer in Europe for both wind tower and complex crane steel construction”.
Dear friends, one thing has not changed at all these last years and that is the CAN-DO attitude from both management and employees here at E-Towers Famaba. This CAN-DO attitude has always been combined with:
– the ongoing guidance from our customers VESTAS and E-CRANE
– the important support by both the local and national Polish authorities
– the commitment of the share-holders
My roots are found in Flanders, the Dutch speaking part of Belgium. I have to admit that I feel very much ‘at home’ here in Poland and more specifically in Glogow. Also in Flanders we love to work hard to keep our customers happy and we do that often ‘silently’.
For a very long time Famaba employees have worked extremely hard in these buildings. What was achieved on a daily basis inside these big buildings was not known by the public and for sure it did not show on the outside. With the latest investments also the outside world will see that E-Towers Famaba is a company where a dedicated management has a clear vision and where dedicated employees use their talents on a daily basis to achieve great things!
As the chairman of the Supervisory Board of E-Towers Famaba and hopefully on behalf of all gathered here this afternoon I wish E-Towers Famaba “a safe and blessed journey with favorable winds “ for many, many years to come!

W ten piękny słoneczny dzień chciałbym jeszcze raz gorąco przywitać wszystkich Państwa w imieniu Rady Nadzorczej, Zarządu, a także wszystkich pracowników naszej firmy.
Dla E-Towers Famaba jest to dzień ekscytujący. Dzień, który zapisze się na kartach historii firmy. To właśnie dzisiaj otwieramy piątą linię montażową wież wiatrowych!
W ostatniej dekadzie osobiście obserwowałem zmiany zachodzące w Famabie. Dotyczyły one takich obszarów jak wiedza technologiczna, wydajność, produktywność, jakość, infrastruktura… Wszystkie te modyfikacje doprowadziły naszą firmę do miejsca, w którym znajduje się dzisiaj: “E-Towers Famaba jest wiodącym europejskim producentem masztów do wież wiatrowych oraz kompleksowych konstrukcji stalowych żurawi”.
Drodzy przyjaciele, jest jednak jeden aspekt, który w ostatnich latach pozostał niezmieniony. Mam tu na myśli podejście pracowników oraz kadry kierowniczej, które można określić jako “CAN-DO” (czyli „zrobimy to”). To nastawienie zawsze było połączone z:
– nieustannym doradztwem ze strony naszych klientów Vestas oraz E-Crane,
– istotnym wsparciem władz lokalnych i krajowych,
– zaangażowaniem akcjonariuszy.
Pochodzę z Flandrii, holenderskojęzycznej części Belgii. Muszę jednak przyznać, że w Polsce, a szczególnie w Głogowie, czuję się jak w domu. We Flandrii również kochamy ciężką pracę, której efektami chcemy uszczęśliwiać naszych klientów, i wielokrotnie robimy to po cichu.
Przez bardzo długi czas pracownicy Famaby pracowali nadzwyczaj ciężko w tych budynkach. To, co na co dzień było osiągane wewnątrz tych dużych hal nie było znane szerszemu gronu, a już na pewno nie było widoczne na zewnątrz. Dzięki ostatnim inwestycjom również osoby spoza firmy zobaczą, że E-Towers Famaba to firma, w której zaangażowana kadra kierownicza ma jasną wizję, a oddani pracownicy dzięki swoim umiejętnościom dzień w dzień dokonują wielkich rzeczy!
Jako przewodniczący Rady Nadzorczej E-Towers Famaba, i mam nadzieję, że również w imieniu wszystkich osób, zebranych tu dzisiejszego popołudnia, życzę E-Towers Famaba “bezpiecznej i szczęśliwej podróży oraz wiatru w żaglach“ na wiele, wiele nadchodzących lat!

Wij zijn vereerd om hier bij E-Towers Famaba te mogen verwelkomen:

Alsook vele, vele vrienden van Famaba.
Nogmaals aan alle aanwezigen een warm welkom op deze zonnige dag namens de Raad van Toezicht, het managegement team en alle medewerkers van E-Towers Famaba.
Het is vandaag een opwindende dag voor E-Towers Famaba omdat we een mijlpaal in ons bestaan bereiken met de opening van de 5de assemblagelijn van torens!
Ik ben persoonlijk getuige geweest van indrukwekkende wijzigingen bij Famaba gedurende de afgelopen 10 jaren. Ik heb veranderingen opgemerkt op gebied van know-how, efficientie, productiviteit, kwaliteit, infrastructuur,… Al deze wijzigingen hebben Famaba gemaakt tot wat we vandaag zijn: “Een top-performer in Europa voor zowel het bouwen van torens voor de windindustrie als voor het bouwen van complexe staalconstructies voor hijskranen”.
Beste vrienden, één zaak is al deze tijd niet gewijzigd en dat is de CAN-DO instelling van zowel management als medewerders hier bij E-Towers Famaba. Deze CAN-DO instelling is altijd gecombineerd geworden met:
– het openstaan voor het begeleiden door onze klanten VESTAS en E-CRANE
– de belangrijke ondersteuning door zowel de lokale als nationale overheden
– de toewijding van de aandeelhouders
Ikzelf heb mijn ‘roots’ in Vlaanderen, het Nederlandssprekende deel van België. Ik moet toegeven dat ik me hier in Polen en meer bepaald in Glogow heel erg thuis voel. Het is namelijk zo dat we ook in Vlaanderen graag hard en veel werken om onze klanten tevreden te houden en we doen dat net als in Polen doorgaans ‘in stilte’.
Voor zeer lange tijd heeft het personeel van Famaba bijzonder hard gewerkt in deze gebouwen. Wat er hier dagelijks gepresteerd werd, was niet geweten door het grote publiek en het was zeer zeker niet zichtbaar langs de buitenkant. Met de laatste investeringen zal nu ook de buitenwereld zien dat E-Towers Famaba een bedrijf is waar een gedreven management een duidelijke toekomstvisie heeft en waar toegewijde medewerkers hun talenten ontwikkelen en inzetten om grootse zaken te realiseren.
Als voorziter van de Raad van Toezicht van E-Towers Famaba en hopelijk namens allen hier deze namiddag aanwezig zijn, wens ik E-Towers Famaba een veilige en gezegende toekomst onder een gunstig gesternte en dit voor vele, vele jaren.
